If looking for a great game to buy with your Nintendo Switch console this holiday season, I would hand down recommend Animal Crossing: New Horizons as a safe choice. Regardless of age, New Horizons is jam packed with hours of community building work to do. After fixing up your house of course!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released March 20, 2020, and has already come with quite a few updates based on the changing of the seasons and holidays. The updates have made the game a bit more interesting since you can only get certain game items during seasonal and holiday events. This has really helped to grow the game usage as you can miss out on items if you stop playing for too long.
The Game’s file size is 6.8 GB and was Developed by Nintendo
Animal Crossing: New Horizons Description
You start off on your own custom deserted island with several other island characters.
You are tasked to create your home and the homes of others on the island.
Then once you have built your island up and made friends on overseas expeditions, you get the task to create island homes for all friends you have made.
Playing New Horizons With Friends and Family
One of the best reasons to get this game is the ability to play with friends and family. SPOILER ALERT: The more you play with friends and family, the fast you can grow your island getaway. Since you can basically get items from your friends and family you didn’t get yet on your island.
Host Parties On Your Island
With the way things are now, new horizons create a place to hang out and let loose, even when we really cannot outside. It is great for having friends play on the game to talk and catch up over a virtual fire or in the yard with a BBQ.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons Updates
Since one of the most recent updates on September 30, 2020, increased the size of everyone’s island space by including the open ocean, it is safe to assume that many more updates are coming to grown and enhance the gameplay on New Horizons. A total of 8 people can play on anyone island at a time but it is possible this might grow if users continue to pick up the game.
