DawnTrail Begins in Tural and Getting the Viper Job for Dual Wielding
Updated: June 28, 2024
Finally, it begins. Final Fantasy 14 opens with a cinematic event of traveling across the sea and coming to the new world or what Wuk Lamat calls it Tural.
After a tour of the city, start off with attuning to the shards. Makes the traveling bare-able to get it out of the way.
Went back to Ul’dah to unlock the Viper clas. You need to have the Dawntrail expansion and have at least one other job at level 80. Once you teleport there, the job starts right outside across the pathway. Just walk straight. You’ll see it.

DawnTrail version 1.000.264 Update File
Updated: June 27, 2024
While playing Elden Ring, I found myself deleting games to make room for what appears to be the DawnTrail expansion for Final Fantasy 14. The 52.533 GB version 1.000.264 update file loaded pretty quickly and seems to be the biggest expansion file I’ve seen to date.
While finally, level 100 in Final Fantasy 14 comes with the new release of DawnTrail and I could not be more excited. The excitement stems mostly because I am like level 175 in Elden Ring and know others who are far higher, so finally hitting 100 in the coming days will be the drive to end FF14. The focus of this page will be geared towards becoming a dual wielder over my current favorite job as a reaper. I will take you through my process of job change, gear, and fighting scenarios. While explorer the new story line that leads us across the seas.
Come to think of it, since I pre-ordered, there was a gift at the Delivery Moogle I forgot to pick up and should probably grab once the update is installed. Now that I have installed the update file, seems the game is completely unavailable because all worlds are in maintenance mode. Excited to see what’s to come. Maybe NPC AI’s. That would be something. Stay Tuned.

Viper, Dual Wielder in Final Fantasy 14 DawnTrail
Honestly, I thought I’d be a Reaper all the way through Final Fantasy 14 DawnTrail, once the Viper class was officially announced, I have a new lead role to complete DawnTrail.
In the recent unveiling of the Viper class, a thrilling new job type for avid gamers, the spotlight shone brightly on its distinctive combat style, marked by the dual-wielding prowess that fans have eagerly anticipated since the iconic portrayal of similar fighting style like in “Sword Art Online.” The Viper class, with its twin blades, is designed to deliver rapid strikes, allowing players to engage enemies with a flurry of quick attacks, creating an exhilarating combat experience that keeps players on the edge of their seats.
The real spectacle, however, lies in the Viper’s ability to merge its two blades into one, unleashing powerful hits that devastate adversaries. This unique feature not only adds depth to the gameplay but also pays homage to the dual-wielding fantasy that has captivated audiences since its memorable depiction in popular culture. The anticipation surrounding the Viper class is palpable among the gaming community, as it promises to bring a fresh and dynamic approach to combat mechanics, reinvigorating the excitement for dual-wielding heroes in a new era of gaming.
