The latest Fortnite season is here and with a lot of big changes. Epic Games has chosen an aquatic direction for chapter 2 season 3, adding many new water-based features.

The biggest change and certainly the biggest draw this season is the map. Half of Fortnite’s battlefield is now submerged underwater, which has brought sharks into the game. These sharks will attack players, but players can also use a fishing rod to ski behind them as a new form of transportation.
New Features to Fortnite Season
Other new water features include whirlpools that launch players into the sky, new weapons like the Charge Shotgun, new water-themed skins, and the addition of a brand new hero: Aquaman. NPCs called Marauders are also now in the game, providing players with a new challenge as well as a chance to get some good loot.
Epic has announced that, as this latest season goes on, the water will recede to reveal new secrets. With so much new content surely to come in this exciting season, it’s a great time for any gamer to pick up Fortnite.
