Overwatch 2 on PS5

Overwatch 2 on PS5 is set to launch on October 4th as a free to play PS5 game.

If you’re a gamer, chances are there’s a console in your home and one of the most anticipated upcoming video games is Overwatch 2 for PS5. And if you’re planning to buy an Xbox Series S and are in need of a sweet new titles, then Overwatch 2 is going to be one of the first games you should get.

First of all, it’s an FPS (first-person shooter) game where you are the leader of a group of heroes fighting off a team of villains. There will be close to twenty different heroes to choose from, each with their own abilities, skills and weapons. You can play in three modes: the story mode, the random skirmish mode and the custom game modes. The action is fast and furious as you will be facing off against other players in multiplayer or against a computer-controlled AI that gets smarter as you battle them.

While Overwatch 2 is coming out on PC, it’s also coming out on PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox one as well. This means you can play online and with your friends or against computer controlled opponents on your favorite multiplayer game or even be able to play offline if you just want to experience the story mode. You can also get it on Nintendo Switch, but because it’s not yet out in stores there is no way to know how well it works in the current console hybrid.

So if you haven’t already made up your mind on which console to buy, then it’s clear that a PS5 is the one to get. Not only will you be able to play the PS5 version but with Sony’s PlayLink technology you can now play a number of games through your PlayStation device. The PS5 will include the ability to do augmented reality and play games while you’re watching TV or watching a movie. You’ll be able to do this through the Playlink game streaming function, which will work with PSVR and other PlayStation devices. The way it works is that you’ll be able to place your PlayStation console into an AR device for use with your smart device as an extra screen.
