Rick and Morty C137 Timeline Theory
Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty is definitely one of my favorite shows and can’t wait for the Rick and Morty season 4 premiere this summer.
So as fan theories go, I have always felt that each episode brings us closer to a truth that Rick seems to always point. Nothing Matters.
From seeing that Rick can clone a person with there memories to Rick and Morty having a backup of their memories on a Yellow and Blue USB RICK STICK.
(Hope someone creates that – Fluid memory sticks. )
C137 Timeline Theories
Rick can only change realities with relative timelines not alternate Dimensions or universes.
In Season 1 Ep 6, Rick says “There’s an infinite number of realities… and in a few dozen of those “I” got lucky and turned everything back to normal.
This has to mean he switched with his timeline that died based on its decision to cure the potion #6 and fix the machine.
The Council of Rick’s are Rick’s Direct Timeline and we are always watching C137
“I’m the Rick and so were the rest of you before you formed this alliance.” Since Rick says he turned down the council in Season 1 Ep 6, it means that they are directly hold him in equal regard.
On this theory, the only other points I can point out are that Rick is kind to his timelines that are him and refers to them as “bro”, where as timelines off his decision making he tries to kill.
Example of the Use of “Bro”
In Season 2 Ep 2, Rick says “Hey Bro. How many people was your Morty responsible for killing today.” Which he does kindly and as if speaking to himself.
Example of Killing Timelines off his reasoning
In Season 2 Ep 1, Rick C137 says “The other Rick isn’t trying to merge us anymore. He’s a psycho. The time fraction must have affected him” Even though we know both version are Rick.
Example of the use of Bro for the council
Here is the use of bro by Rick in Season 3 Ep 1. “You came to rescue them. I came to kill you bro.”

Rick Can’t Change Timelines Anymore Without This Version of Morty.
In Season 3 Ep 8, Rick says “We have to pack up and move to an new reality. I told you we could only do that a few times.”
If Rick were at an end to change timelines, then he wouldn’t ask Morty to get out of there. Perhaps it quantum entanglement but it looks like C137 Rick and Morty are stuck together.
