Final Fantasy XIV PS5 Beta Upgrade
Final Fantasy 14 open Beta for PS5 began on April 13, 2021 and after more than 20 hours of gameplay, in duty finder, dungeons and building a character playing through Stormblood expansion at level 65, it is definitely worth it to upgrade to the PS5 version. ff14 beta duty finder As they said, you can upgrade from the PS4 version to the PS5 version simply with the download at no extra cost.

Downloading the PS5 Version

It always amazing me at how much fast my PS5 is to my PS4. I would sit there for hours waiting for the download to be complete. The Full PS5 game download took only 15 minutes from start to finish. Upgrade Tip: Setup your One-Time Password software in case you need to reset your password.

PS5 Version of Final Fantasy 14

Couple of the things to notice to about the PS5 Version I got off the back:
  • Noticed no glitches in the gameplay of this version. After playing Duty Finder Dungeons have not glitched in the 20 hours of gameplay and their is noticeable a time frame where you wait versus friends on the PS4 System.
  • Game Controller settings modification in settings is also geared toward your PS5 Device.
  • Display settings are modified for a high level gameplay on a 65 inch screen.

PS5 Gameplay with the PS4 Version of Final Fantasy 14

Playing FF14 on the PS4 version the last few month’s have had plenty of issues with the PS5. PS5 faster game speed matched with its drive to load the game queries lead to some noticeable issues in Duty Finder or while playing playing a mission and the game speed locks me out of where everyone else is. final fantasy xiv endwalker

FINAL FANTASY XIV ENDWALKER

Don’t forget to stay tuned to updates for the FINAL FANTASY XIV ENDWALKER expansion coming this fall. FINAL FANTASY XIV ENDWALKER will most likely include the other expansion packs (HEAVENSWARD, STORMBLOOD & SHADOWBRINGERS) if you are a first time player. Monthly Subscriptions will still be required to play ff14 on PS5 like all other versions or platforms.

To defeat Legendary Brute of Tartaros, just have freed at least one god and you should be in good shape for a fight with at least 5 -6 health bars. This battle is not easy but it is not difficult . Legendary Brute of Tartaros has many major attack’s that can not be blocked. The first major attack is spinning hammer slam attack that is does not stop quickly so keep moving. The second attack is a powered hammer attack that you cannot block but can dodge quickly. Also, the brute can rotate swing and take another go at you. How to beat Legendary Brute of Tartaros will be simple if you are have master perfect dodge, Athena’s Dash and Hephaistos’s Hammer leveled up with all the abilities to attack this enemy. Brute of Tartaros is a mid level battle. Always make you down potions for stamina and health. Focus on stunning the Brute with Athena’s Dash. Once you see an opening, unleash Hephaistos’s Hammer attack to pommel his hp. Rinse and repeat and you will defeat the Legendary Brute of Tartaros. To defeat Mythical Cyclops Polyphemos, you will need to prepare for this battle. Even with high health and stamina, Polyphemos is a battle like the corrupted heroes. The most important thing to realize, due to the of Polyphemos, you cannot dodge at distance and reach him fast enough to hit with a regular attack if you are out of stamina. Mythical Cyclops Polyphemos has many major attack’s that can not be blocked. The first major attack is club slam that is typical of of a cyclops. This attack can throw ground rumblings causing damage in a wide area or directed at you. The second attack the swinging club attack that you cannot block. The third major attack is a purple foot stump that poison’s the area around the attack, so watch out. There are other attacks but he won’t use them until his health is below 40% – 60% left. How to beat Mythical Cyclops Polyphemos will be simple if you are have master perfect dodge and Hephaistos’s Hammer toward this enemy. Polyphemos will attack constantly without letting up, making you down potions for stamina and health. Trying to stun seemed like the thing to do but he did not remain stunned as a enemy usually would and found it not worth it. Keep at the attack with your sword attacks. Use Athena’s Dash if you have to Stun but you can see from the game play that it was not worth it. Do not forget to dodge or jump when Polyphemos sends his ground quake wave. The Mechanical Explosive Bow in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is by far my favorite bow in this version. Besides the fact that Bows do not give away your position, they are the only long distant weapons.

Mechanical Shockwave Bow in Fortnite

The Mechanical Shockwave Bow in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is by far my favorite bow in this version. Besides the fact that Bows do not give away your position, they are the only long distant weapons. Also, I have seen hit volumes with this bow at 187, which is the shield and your health left with 13 points. Meaning this is a one hit kill weapon.

Shockwave Bow Effect

The effect of the bow is that it hit the area with a shock wave blowing a person away (up if hit from below.) This leaves the person disoriented and not able to recover in the air.

Map Change for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Primal

Fortnite chapter 2 season 6 map As the zero point was getting ready to implode, reality became unstable creating this version of Fortnite. With the layout of Fortnite changed, the desert region is completely removed from the map. Fortnite maps do not change too much, so spend sometime getting to understand the best areas. Spire, Coral Castle and Colossal Crops are great starting places for exploring this Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Primal map.

Fortnite chapter 2 season 6 options One of the major changes in this version of Fortnite is the weapons. Their are makeshift and primal weapons. Each weapon type has a basic affect. Rifles are definitely different as are pistols. The aim or the feel seems completely different from the season 5 versions.

No Sniper Rifles

Sniper rifles have been replaced with mechanical bow and arrows. That is the only long range weapon in the game you can use to hit targets. Check out bow action in the overview video.

Primal Shotgun

Best shotgun in the game is the primal shotgun, while the makeshift shotgun has a real delay in reloading.

Makeshift Rifle

Only rifle is the makeshift rifle and the only other weapon that can hit targets at long distance.

Animal Hunting for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Primal

Fortnite huntingAnimals have been added to Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Primal. Boars, Chickens and oh yea, Wolves. Wolf attacks can end you quick in the game if you have little ammo. Wolves will appear in Weeping Woods near the camp site if you want to try them out. Boars will attack you as well but they travel solo and are easy to take out. Live Concert by Kaskade

Attacking Strategy on Hard to beat the Tinkerer

How to Beat the Tinkerer may require a few tries and may drive you to look up this answer on Console Game Stuff. It comes down to 5 main attacks and moves to defeat the Tinkerer. The Third bout against the Tinkerer, is the hardest and a reason for this strategy guide. Here is everything you need to know.

Perfect Dodge from Missiles

In the the 3rd bout, the Tinkerer will launch mines, a turret and missiles all in the same motion. Perfect Dodging the missiles, a blast canon, an electric chain that binds you while avoiding the mines will be key to avoiding significant lost of health.

Destroying the Power Turret While Dodging incoming Missiles

Once the Turret is Activated, The Tinkerer will always shoot missiles at you. Make sure you are far enough to dodge or throw the turret at the Tinkerer to stun them. Once stunned, that’s the best time to attack

Holo Drone and Remote Mine Will Also Stun The Tinkerer

Using holo drone or remote mine can help stun the Tinkerer as well. However, in most cases you will sacrifice health with a hit to get off the remote mine.

Once Stunned Use Venom Punch, Venom Smash or Venom Dash on The Tinkerer

Remember once stunned unleash you Venom attack. I’d use with the venom punch, venom dash or venom smash following up with volley attack to refill your venom bar. Remember, during the battle you will have to decide to use a venom attack or heal yourself. Keep track of your health bar.

Don’t Go Stealth

It has been months since latest edition of PlayStation has been released and only now are many actually getting their PS5 Console. With this new system there are a few things you will want to do to get setup for a long weekend of game play. ps5 game console and accessories

Transfer your PS4 Data over to your PS5

This is the easiest way to keep your PlayStation experience close to what it was with your old games (downloaded games), Files and User Setting. On average out of 10 users sampled, most say it took 11 hours to transfer all of the data completely.

Download Free Games with your PlayStation Plus

One of the perks right now once you load up your PS5 is the free PS4 games that your can download with your PlayStation Plus Account. Most notable was God of War. But that might be because the disc wouldn’t load on the PS5 from PS4. One other thing I noticed instantly was the downloads and uploads are up to 10x faster. PS4 games that took hours were complete in 10 minutes while my internet never got better. I also noticed games loaded a lot faster from Cyberpunk to Fortnite (even loading into Fornite gameplay, I was always one of the first players on a new field, which never happened on PS4). Cyberpunk and Assassins Creed both loaded into the game so much faster that if there was any reason to get it, this is it.

Best First Game for PS5

ps5 game spiderman miles morales The absolute best first game to play on the PS5 is Spider-Man Miles Morales. No glitches, issues and amazing game play. While I hope they extended the game play as a whole, it was still the game that made my PS5 better then my PS4. Spider-Man Miles Morales definitely is my replay game for PS5 and recommend as the first game you get.

Games That Are Better on PS4

While I think Cyberpunk 2077, could have been better, I was still excited to play it on my PS4 with the first updated that corrected glitches that continually shutdown the game. Unfortunately, those glitches still exist and its the end of March. Unless they decide to make a full revamp of the game similar to No Man’s Sky, where the entire gameplay changed from the loading of the game to its update. Final Fantasy 14 has a beta for PS5 coming out this April but for now is better on PS4. I have crashed way too many times in dungeons on PS5. Animal Crossing™: New Horizons

Just when I tell myself, I am done building up my island, I run right back to putting time into its production. Animal crossing is a fun all around friendly game built on building your own home away from home. Little Nightmares II

little nightmares 2 Coming in at #2 is definitely Little Nightmares II that was just released on Feb 11, 2021. If you enjoyed being a little caught off guard with the hint of horror, this game is perfect. As you wander the game, you find yourself being pursued by body parts, headless bodies and shadows. It has that keep playing and keep moving feel to it. Hades

At #3 on my list is Definitely Hades. This is the most addicting game right now to play for me. It’s set in the underworld, where you the prince of the underworld tries to escape with the help of those close and those who would see you succeed. One element of the game is death. when you die, you start over from the beginning which makes playing something you can get lost in for hours with each match different from the last. Immortals Fenyx Rising™

At #4 on my list for best games for Nintendo Switch is Immortals Fenyx Rising™. Based with much game play similarities to Breathe of the wild, Fenyx, a demigod attempts to help the gods defeat Typhon. With much of the story and game play based on stories of the mythological world, Fenyx under takes battles with heroes of old and monsters alike. The Legend of Zelda™: Breath of the Wild

breath of the wild review Finally but very true at #5 is The Legend of Zelda™: Breath of the Wild (With no surprise that it still holds a spot in best sellers). I know, how many times can you play this game and still talk about it. However, after playing immortals Fenyx Rising, I find myself yearning for the original game that made the interface for open world play. Every 3 – 6 months brings you right back to the title to start over from the beginning. Don’t get me wrong, Hyrule Warriors – Age of Calamity is a good play but I think like everyone else, I am hoping the next E3 showcases updates on when they will be releasing The Legend of Zelda™: Breath of the Wild 2. To defeat Ozomene the Hurricane, you will need to make sure you have Herakles is Pull ability when fighting. Since Ozomene the Hurricane is the final battle to acquire Aphrodite’s essence, its important to make sure you are ready with potions and raw materials to keep yourself from dying in the battle. Ozomene the hurricane has several major attack’s and one major flaw. The first major attack is the Spinning dive attack that you see in the preview of the battle. You cannot parry it but you can perfect dodge to slow time for an attack barrage. The second powerful attack is the Flame wall. How to beat Ozomene the Hurricane will be simple if you are have master perfect dodge and Herakles Pull toward enemies ability. Ozomene will attack regularly, throwing out her major attacks and then she will need to recover. This is when 2 harpies will appear, and this will be your chance to attack with Hephaistos’s Hammer. Use Athena’s Dash if you have it to Stun and continue your attacks. Even with very little abilities, this match can be completed rather quickly with the bases covered above.
