A completely new visual style was created as a result of the original Octopath Traveler, which fans have requested to be used in their favorite titles. The HD-2D engine sparked a lot of hope for retro remakes, but the gameplay it introduced also made for some amazing moments along the road. You’ll want to when playing Octopath Traveler II because Square Enix has recently been on a roll and there don’t appear to be any indications of that changing.
Even though many of the same components are present, it seems strange that more was not done to strengthen the solid foundations that its predecessor laid down half a decade earlier.
New Adventures
At first look, Octopath Traveler II doesn’t seem to differ much from its predecessor, which was first made available only for the Nintendo Switch. The incredible visuals of the tilt-shifted world serve to once again demonstrate why so many of us love the HD-2D engine. The traditional turn-based fights happen from a more lateral perspective, whereas you experience the world itself from a sort of bird’s eye view. Both the Break system, which lets you break an opponent’s resistance to make them susceptible and the Boost system, which enables you to overcharge attacks or deliver several blows quickly, are back.
You choose your main character in Octopath Traveler II, a feature that was first presented in the first game. Each character has a unique tale, but in the sequel, many of the problems have been resolved. You will become acquainted with the scenario in an introductory chapter before being allowed to plunge into the world and explore it to your heart’s content. From that point on, you’ll start getting to know other characters, the same ones who will eventually take the lead in their chapters of this vivid storybook before joining together for the conclusion.
Experience Amazing Upgrades
Thankfully for most of the time I spent with these characters, many of them had better-written stories than their predecessor. When you start playing Octopath Traveler 2, Osvald is one of the standout characters you’ll get to know. He’s entangled in a revenge plot that, while it may sound cliche, is executed in a novel manner. The other characters aren’t as compelling as Agnea’s obsessive quest for recognition, a story I was eager to finish. Throné’s story creates dramatic tension by putting her past as a criminal behind her and counterbalancing some of the weaker tales with stronger ones.
To defeat the Acromantula in Quest Search for Tobbs, you will first need to develop your spell fighting abilities. This was probably one of the hardest battles because of the enclosure environment and endless spiders that can be summoned. It is important you stock up on healing potions, since you are alone, you will not have any cover while the Acromantula attacks. Acromantula attacks are very basic and should be fought with Red Spells (fire based) and Thunderbrew. Dodging direct attacks to the right and then attacking with a spell, or grabbing distant object to attack with.

Attacking Strategy to the Acromantula Boss Battle
The Acromantula attack starts with 3 direct attacks you should dodge 3 times from. You will need to hit it with your red attacks as often as you can. At this point, I throw off Thunderbrew to deal with the many spiders attacking at once and to give openings to attack the Acormantua head on. I would advise having 2 Thunderbrew potions on hand to ensure you keep the smaller spiders off you while attacking. Acromantula direct attack appears in red so it has to be dodged and the smaller spiders will attack you with a change to block and cast stupify.Next, you can follow up and while the Acromantula is standing under a spider column use a fire attack (incendio) to have it land on the Acromantula speeding up its demise. The Acromantula will use an attack where to lunges at you from the other side of the room with no notice so be aware of its placement in the room.
It is important to know that if you do not use Thundrebrew, the onslaught of attacks may end you before you can heal. If that is the case, dodge and attack is you best option. Once the Acromantula heads under ground it is pretty much at its end but more spiders will come up, so don’t let you guard down.
Recommended Thunderbrew Potion and Red Attacks
In this battle, I highly recommend red attacks Confringo, Incendio, Expelliarmus, and Diffindo, as the primary attack spells to defeat Acromantula. I always recommend Thunderbrew Potions used to throw off multiple opponents especially spiders.
When you pick up a controller and play Hogwarts Legacy, you enter a magical world bursting with secrets. Especially if you dreamed about living in the world of Harry Potter, this game lets you role-play in that world and lets you become a student at Hogwarts in the 1800s.
Alive with Magic
Hogwarts Legacy brings the world of Harry Potter to life with magic, mysteries and a gorgeous open-world RPG. This massive world extends beyond the grounds at Hogwarts and comes packed with secrets and danger. While playing the game, you will quickly learn how to cast spells and use your magical instincts to solve puzzles. When you solve a puzzle, you get richly rewarded with more answers to this fascinating world.
Combat Gameplay
The combat and gameplay remain pretty straightforward. If you played Legos Harry Potter, you will find that it shares many similarities, but we found that this game took that a couple of steps further than that one. The intricate spellwork and the lightning-fast combat makes the gameplay a joy. You will encounter enemy types of enough variety to keep the game interesting. You can step into battle and prepare up to 16 spells to fire off at your enemy.
After 3 days and 25 hours of gameplay in Hogwarts Legacy, I can finally say “I didn’t even realize I was I spent 25 hours playing” and I’m not even half way completed with the story. From the story, to the battles, Hogwarts Legacy is definitely in my Top 3 list for 2023.
Few Quick Tips:
Make sure you have a good controller. After recent gameplay with Forespoken, I you may not realize your wand trigger might not work as well as you want it to.
Battling Guide on Spell Section
Battling Sets
In Battle, I recommend your main fighting centered on 2 main spell sets with the first being 1 yellow, 1 purple, 1 light blue and one red spell. The most effective strategy is having this kind of The second set should be 3 reds and 1 Yellow (not into the dark art spells)
The First set could be Disillusionment at the top, Arresto Momentum on the right, Accio on the left and a red spell at the bottom. I can now use Bombarda so its my preferred spell.
The second set should be what ever Red Spells you have with Glacius. When you Learn Diffindo, any basic human or goblin you cast Glacius on that’s first will shatter with the second hit spell of Diffindo.

My Potion of choice is Thunderbrew. Really comes in handy.

I suggest you get more sets for your spells, max out only the spells and attacks you plan to use. It is a waste to just select a spell attack like chomping cabbage if you do not intent to use them.

Fun Game Where You Customize Your Player
You won’t play as Harry Potter in this game. Instead, you will customize a character and play from one of the famous houses at Hogwarts. For example, you could play as a character from Ravenclaw and use a wand made from a dragon heartstring core. Be aware that once you set up a character, you can’t change it later.
You can’t play as Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley or Hermione Granger because Hogwarts Legacy is set in the 1800s before Harry Potter and his friends were born. Still, you won’t regret the gameplay for a minute since everything is bursting with fun.
Mysteries and Secrets Abound
You can passively wander the grounds at Hogwarts to collect experience points while the mysteries unfold around you. As you progress in this magical world, you will go beyond Hogwarts Castle to other parts of this world, which include the Forbidden Forest, Hogsmeade and the open world.
Final Thoughts
The game is worth buying, especially if you have followed Harry Potter since the books were first released. You will always find a fresh riddle around every corner in this delightful exploration of a beloved series. The list of fun things that you can do in this fun world never end. Buy it for the PS5 now and see for yourself

To defeat the Heimdall in a boss battle in God Of War Ragnarok, you will first need to defeat his ride, Gulltoppr. It is important to not take too much damage in this battle, since you are alone, there is no save with revival stone. Gulltoppr’s attacks are very basic and should be fought with the Axe and shield breaks. Dodging direct run attacks to the right and axe follow up swings will end Gulltoppr quickly. Heimdall will throw Bifrost attacks that if they hit you will reduce you in Gulltoppr’s attacks. Now, that your battle with Heimdall begins, you will not be able to land a hit until he is dazed by your Spear attacks.

Attacking Strategy to the Heimdall Boss Battle
Heimdall attack starts with super speed and the ability to dodge everything with his foresight. You will need to hit him with a series of 3 dazed events caused by exploding your spear in as he walks by. It works in series of three. First explosion creates a daze for Heimdall you will need to attack him on. Then 2 exploding spears will need to hit him, and then 3 exploding spears to trigger the final daze to land a hit. Next, you can follow a strategy of attack and dodge. Attempting to block Heimdall’s attacks did not seem to work and made things more difficult. First attack Heimdall, before dodging his follow up volley backwards, once he lets up, hit him with an exploding spear and repeat. Heimdall has a one-off super fast attack that slows time but you should always be able to dodge when it comes at you.
Once the battle fires up, you will need to make sure you dodge every Bifrost attack you can. if you keep with the pattern of attack, dodge, explode spear and repeat, you should be able to complete the battle. Also, make sure you stay close enough to shield break Hemdall when he pulses attacks on the ground.
Recommended Weapon and Valor God Power
in this battle, I highly recommend spear attacks, as the weapon was create specifically to defeat Heimdall. I always recommend valor use to offset at any damage you might take and since you have no life line in this battle, it is the best
To defeat the two Dreki in a boss battle in God Of War Ragnarok, you will need to take a step back and not try to face them head on. To be honest, I was completely surprised when this battle came and did not expect to be locked out of any additional resources to fight them. Without spoiling you with the details, once the battle comes you will find that you have no options but to fight and since your reading this, you have most likely died enough to look up how to beat them. The only option available without the strategy guide is to use up all of your unspent skill points on fighting moves, Since you won’t be able to leave the island until they are defeated and there are no enemies left to fight.

Attacking Strategy to the Two Dreki Boss Battle
The two Dreki attack starts with your in a attack so quickly get out of it. Begin dodging until one of them breaks back for the water and begin your attack. Start by avoiding the electric Dreki all together until you defeat the purple water Dreki. Each Dreki on land will take a run at you with an attack and follow the attack with their tail attack. You can dodge backwards twice to avoid and continue to charge and throw your ax until you wear down the first Dreki. If you see 2 blue rings, make sure you run at the Dreki and double tab your shield to break the Dreki and land a barrage of attacks. Remember to continually shoot your support arrows at the Dreki and any special attacks you equipped Freya. Next, you can follow the same attack strategy as the first but with more dodging and use of your charged attacks with your ax. Keeping your distance is key if you have not mastered blocks and watching the pattern of attacks opens them up for a 4 hit combo before backing out again. Make sure you pay attention to red circle attacks that you can dodge backwards always to avoid. Remember continually attacking with Freya from afar will allow you to dodge until it’s time for the final blow.
Recommended Weapon and Valor God Power
in this battle, I highly recommend you using your ax to battle both enemies. Your chain attacks with 2 Dreki can be challenging and do not allow for distance attacks that prevent them from ganging up on you or attacking from a distance. Continue to charge your ax after every major dodge set, reset and throw until they are defeated. It is key that you defeat the electric Dreki last. Also, consider setting your god mode to valor to regain your health instead of fighting head on with Rage. You will not have enough to finish off a Dreki and they will retreat leaving you vulnerable.

It’s also got some new twists on the classic formula.
This game is less fast-paced than most other sonic games, but it still has an excellent sense of speed. Your character also has a “Phase Drift” ability to phase in and out of the background at certain points in each level.
It’s a cool mechanic that adds another layer of depth to this game. Astounding execution on a popular series known for its quality gaming experience, God of War Ragnarok drops us into the riveting world of Norse mythology. You will battle your way bloody through a host of beasts and warlike enemies. The fighting grabs you and pulls you in, but what drives you throughout is the interesting characters. You will enjoy the strong writing throughout. The relationships between the people feels real.
Never Waste a Moment in God of War Ragnarök
The game action never stops captivating you, and it will leave you with a lasting impression. As you play through the game, you play as Kratos, the Greek God of War. He fights alongside his son Atreus, and they’ve built a stronger relationship since the last title. The circumstances in this world have become even more drastic than before. For those unaware, Ragnarok means the end times in Norse mythology and the battle of the gods.
You will encounter a world full of brain-teasing puzzles with vines to burn and geysers to freeze. The morals and revelations in the game always feel understated and meaningful.
God of War Ragnarök Game Play
The gameplay differs much from the PS2-era God of War that had a more arcade-like feel. Ragnarok is more of a methodical hacking and pummeling to triumph over your enemies. The spectacle of the boss fights will clamp down its teeth on your attention and hold you there ferociously. Ragnarok has 10 total boss fights and every one of them is memorable. Ragnarok even opens with a boss fight so extreme and exhilarating that it will make other games look inferior by comparison.
In total, you can expect it to take anywhere from 20 to 25 hours to finish. That’s only if you stick to the main storyline, but there’s a rich variety of side quests to explore.
Addressing Past God of War Games
In the last title from 2018, people complained about how everything felt the same after a while. The developers at Santa Monica Studio addressed those problems in the latest game with enemy subtypes that populate each of the levels. They switched up the boss battles as well so that it doesn’t always feel like fighting the same boss battle. Kratos faces many challenges in the new game, and gamers won’t ever feel bored with the constant switch-ups made.

Including some impressive graphics, God of War Ragnarok is available for the PS5, but you can get it on the PS4, too. Still, it looks even better on the PS5 with some of the most stunning artistry ever done for a video game. In this battle, I highly recommend red attacks Confringo, Incendio, Expelliarmus, and Diffindo, as the primary attack spells to defeat Acromantula. I always recommend Thunderbrew Potions used to throw off multiple opponents especially spiders. 
You won’t play as Harry Potter in this game. Instead, you will customize a character and play from one of the famous houses at Hogwarts. For example, you could play as a character from Ravenclaw and use a wand made from a dragon heartstring core. Be aware that once you set up a character, you can’t change it later.
You can’t play as Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley or Hermione Granger because Hogwarts Legacy is set in the 1800s before Harry Potter and his friends were born. Still, you won’t regret the gameplay for a minute since everything is bursting with fun.
Heimdall attack starts with super speed and the ability to dodge everything with his foresight. You will need to hit him with a series of 3 dazed events caused by exploding your spear in as he walks by. It works in series of three. First explosion creates a daze for Heimdall you will need to attack him on. Then 2 exploding spears will need to hit him, and then 3 exploding spears to trigger the final daze to land a hit.
Next, you can follow a strategy of attack and dodge. Attempting to block Heimdall’s attacks did not seem to work and made things more difficult. First attack Heimdall, before dodging his follow up volley backwards, once he lets up, hit him with an exploding spear and repeat. Heimdall has a one-off super fast attack that slows time but you should always be able to dodge when it comes at you.
Once the battle fires up, you will need to make sure you dodge every Bifrost attack you can. if you keep with the pattern of attack, dodge, explode spear and repeat, you should be able to complete the battle. Also, make sure you stay close enough to shield break Hemdall when he pulses attacks on the ground.
in this battle, I highly recommend spear attacks, as the weapon was create specifically to defeat Heimdall. I always recommend valor use to offset at any damage you might take and since you have no life line in this battle, it is the best 
The two Dreki attack starts with your in a attack so quickly get out of it. Begin dodging until one of them breaks back for the water and begin your attack. Start by avoiding the electric Dreki all together until you defeat the purple water Dreki. Each Dreki on land will take a run at you with an attack and follow the attack with their tail attack. You can dodge backwards twice to avoid and continue to charge and throw your ax until you wear down the first Dreki. If you see 2 blue rings, make sure you run at the Dreki and double tab your shield to break the Dreki and land a barrage of attacks. Remember to continually shoot your support arrows at the Dreki and any special attacks you equipped Freya.
Next, you can follow the same attack strategy as the first but with more dodging and use of your charged attacks with your ax. Keeping your distance is key if you have not mastered blocks and watching the pattern of attacks opens them up for a 4 hit combo before backing out again. Make sure you pay attention to red circle attacks that you can dodge backwards always to avoid. Remember continually attacking with Freya from afar will allow you to dodge until it’s time for the final blow.
in this battle, I highly recommend you using your ax to battle both enemies. Your chain attacks with 2 Dreki can be challenging and do not allow for distance attacks that prevent them from ganging up on you or attacking from a distance. Continue to charge your ax after every major dodge set, reset and throw until they are defeated. It is key that you defeat the electric Dreki last. Also, consider setting your god mode to valor to regain your health instead of fighting head on with Rage. You will not have enough to finish off a Dreki and they will retreat leaving you vulnerable. 
The gameplay differs much from the PS2-era God of War that had a more arcade-like feel. Ragnarok is more of a methodical hacking and pummeling to triumph over your enemies. The spectacle of the boss fights will clamp down its teeth on your attention and hold you there ferociously. Ragnarok has 10 total boss fights and every one of them is memorable. Ragnarok even opens with a boss fight so extreme and exhilarating that it will make other games look inferior by comparison.
In total, you can expect it to take anywhere from 20 to 25 hours to finish. That’s only if you stick to the main storyline, but there’s a rich variety of side quests to explore.
